About Michelle

Michelle MaliZaki is a Japanese-American stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster based in Los Angeles. She performs regularly across Southern California and recently appeared on Rosie Tran Presents (Amazon Prime Video). Michelle is a featured performer at SF Sketchfest 2025 and will be taping a 30-minute set for Comedy InvAsian in early 2025. She also co-hosts the bilingual comedy show Nihongo to English and the cultural podcast Japanese America for the Japanese American National Museum.

Michelle is also the founder of Pen Paper Palooza, a Los Angeles stationery festival celebrating creativity, small artists, and joyful community. PPP helps fuel her comedy journey — one pen stroke at a time.
